FARGO – Rachel Blumhardt, a licensed professional clinical counselor, has been named Clinical Manager for The Village Family Service Center’s Division of Behavioral Health and Financial Services.
Blumhardt has been with The Village since May 2005, starting as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselor in the organization’s Fargo and Detroit Lakes offices. After earning advanced licensure, she was promoted to a clinical counseling position with The Village, and in 2013 became EAP Clinical Supervisor. In May of this year, she took on the duties of Interim Clinical Manager for The Village’s Regional Counseling Services.
In addition to being a LPCC and LPC, Blumhardt is a North Dakota Certified Counselor Supervisor, and is pursuing approval in Minnesota. She earned her master’s degree from North Dakota State University.
Blumhardt has extensive training and experience providing crisis management services and was instrumental in the development of The Village’s web-based counseling services. She was recognized nationally through the Alliance of Strong Families and Communities as a clinician on the cutting edge of telehealth.
The Village is based in Fargo and has offices in 15 communities across North Dakota and Minnesota. Its programs and services include counseling, addiction treatment, in-home family therapy, mentoring, adoption services, pregnancy counseling, truancy intervention, financial counseling, employee assistance programs, and business training.
