In my position at The Village, I strive to provide strength-based, family-centered behavioral health services by embracing a family’s strengths, resilience, talents, and culture, to empower families, increase self-reliance, and reduce barriers. I have always been interested in working in the human services field. I worked as a Direct Support Professional for adults with disabilities throughout college and graduate school. My undergraduate degree was in Rehabilitation and Human Services from UND, a degree that focuses on working with people with disabilities in the human services field. I went on to get my master's degree at UND with an emphasis in Rehabilitation, where I continued to learn more about physical, developmental, and psychiatric disabilities.
