I received my bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University in Psychology with a minor in Child Development, then onto a master's in Community Counseling from University of Mary in Fargo. I have had training in a range of different areas including Nurtured Heart, Love and Logic parenting approaches, Sand Tray Play Therapy, and some trauma therapy techniques. I have had more specific, specialty training in working with LGBTQ population, autism and Structural Family Therapy Approach. I did an internship in graduate school working with LGBTQ youth/adults population and have been a supporter and advocate. I have experience as a respite worker working specifically with autism population. I have loved ones with autism, and so this specialty is very near and dear to my heart. I love working with couples, children and families, and so I have the most training in Structural Family Therapy, as I love to see families come together and work through conflict or problems.
