A seven-week Mindfulness Group will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, May 8 through June 19, at The Village Family Service Center's Fargo office, 1201 25th St. S. Participants in the group will learn the difference between "doing" and "being," how to notice and disengage from a negative mindset, and how to cultivate self-compassion. EAP Counselor Andi Wheeler, LPC, is your "mindfulness mentor," and will teach the foundational concepts of mindfulness: presence, acceptance, and non-judgment.
