I have experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy in office, home, and school-based settings. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults impacted by depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavior challenges, family violence, abuse and trauma, and anger issues. I have a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and certificate of completion in animal-assisted therapy, learning, and education through the Animals and Human Health program at the University of Denver’s School of Social Work and Institute for Human-Animal Connection. I am passionate about incorporating the human-animal bond, animal-assisted therapies, nature-based therapies, and attachment theory into my clinical work. I enjoy advocating and providing education to other service professionals and the public on the correlations between animal abuse, child abuse, domestic violence, and other forms of violence. My hobbies include horseback riding, spending time with my dog, biking, hiking, and being in nature.
