The Village Family Service Center has welcomed several new employees recently. They include:
Nicole Anderson is The Village's Chief Financial Officer. She oversees financial operations for the nonprofit and assists on strategic and tactical matters as it relates to budget management, cost-benefit analysis and forecasting. Nicole has a bacheor's degree from the University of Jamestown (N.D.), where she majored in Accounting and Business Administration. She was most recently System Manager of Budget and Planning with Essentia Health, where she also worked as Manager of Business Partnering and as a Financial Analyst. She previously held positions with Microsoft, Eide Bailly and National Information Solutions.
Calie Brown has been hired as a Licensed Addiction Counselor in The Village's Bismarck office. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Mary in Bismarck, and is a masters licensed addiction counselor. In addition to helping individuals affected by addiction and their family members, Calie offers community education and consultation services to various community agencies.
Alison Erickson is a Minnesota-Based Therapist in St. Cloud, providing clinical services to individuals, couples and families as well as group counseling. She specializes in working with children. Alison graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Masters of Social Work and is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. She previously worked as a Guardian Ad Litem for the Seventh Judicial District and as an early childhood mental health practitioner for Nystrom and Associates.
Jenna Forbord joins The Village as an In-Home Family Therapist in Fargo. She works with individuals, couples and families, using a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as structural family therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Jenna earned a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Dakota State University. She also has bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Minnesota State University. She previously worked at Red River Recovery Center.
Heather Trettel is a clinical therapist at The Village’s St. Cloud office, providing individual and family therapy for children. Heather earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of St. Benedict and a master’s degree from St. Cloud State University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She previously provided individual, family and group therapy for an outpatient day treatment program for children.
Julie Vandrovec works as Clinical Associate with The Village Business Institute in Fargo. She provides counseling to Employee Assistance Program clients, as well as case management services and trainings focused on mental health. Julie has a master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of Mary, Fargo, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of North Dakota. She previously worked at Prairie St. John's and Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota's Luther Hall.
The Village is based in Fargo and has offices in 15 communities across North Dakota and Minnesota.
