The Village Family Service Center’s Board of Directors announces that Jeff Pederson has been selected as Chief Executive Officer and President of The Village. He will begin in the CEO role on Monday, April 16.
“Jeff comes to The Village with decades of executive experience, including leadership positions with public and nonprofit organizations,” said Rick Henderson, chairman of The Village’s Board of Directors. “His integrity, focus on mission, and servant leadership style made him an ideal candidate. We are confident Jeff is the right leader to help us achieve our vision of being the region’s preferred provider of exceptional behavioral health services.”
Pederson, of Oxbow, N.D., was President of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) Villa Nazareth Organization, which consists of CHI Friendship and CHI Riverview in Fargo, for 24 years.

He was mayor of Grafton, N.D., and County Executive Director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture ASCS Office in Wahpeton, N.D.
“I am truly honored and blessed by the opportunity to be part of the outstanding team at The Village,” Pederson said. “I strongly feel that the mission, vision and values align well with my personal beliefs in meeting the needs of people across the region.”
