FARGO – The Michael Kaspari Memorial Run for Recovery will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at Lindenwood Park in Fargo.
The run supports First Step Recovery, a nonprofit chemical dependency treatment center in Fargo and a program of The Village Family Service Center. This year’s event was renamed in honor of Michael Kaspari, co-founder of First Step, who passed away in April following a fall in his home.
The event includes a 5K run/walk, 3K run/walk, and 1K kids and family fun run/walk. All proceeds benefit the Family Program of First Step Recovery.
Race registration is $10 to $25. Participants can sign up at bit.ly/2017run4recovery. For more information, call (701) 451-5033.
