FARGO – Thanks to a generous donor, contributions made to The Village Family Service Center on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28, will be matched up to $10,000.
The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is Giving Tuesday, a worldwide day of giving back. Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
As part of Giving Tuesday, The Village is encouraging supporters to #BeTheVillage through their actions and donations. Gifts to The Village help strengthen families, fight addiction, mentor youth, and change lives. The Village provides a variety of services, including counseling, addiction recovery, Big Brothers Big Sisters, adoption and more, and has offices in 15 communities across North Dakota and Minnesota.
To make a donation on Giving Tuesday, visit www.TheVillageFamily.org/BeTheVillage. Donations are tax deductible up to the full extent of the law.
