DEVILS LAKE, N.D. – The Village Family Service Center in Devils Lake received a $1,500 grant from the Devils Lake Area Foundation to purchase a laptop. The portable technology will help in-home counselors process client paperwork more efficiently.
The Devils Lake Area Foundation was formed in 1975 by the Community Development Corporation of Devils Lake to provide a method for philanthropy. Funds are used for charitable, religious, education, scientific or literary purposes in the Devils Lake area.
The Village is based in Fargo and has offices in 15 communities across North Dakota and Minnesota. Its programs and services include counseling, addiction treatment, in-home family therapy, mentoring, adoption services, pregnancy counseling, truancy intervention, financial counseling, employee assistance programs, and business training.
