I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Work from Minot State University with an emphasis in children, youth, and families. I have a concentration in Special Education and have training in:

• Mandated Reporters Interactive Training - special training for people whose profession requires them to report suspected child abuse or neglect
• Question, Persuade, and Refer Gatekeeper - a three-step system to help prevent suicide
• Improving Cultural Competency for Behavioral Health Professionals - a course covering various cultural identities to improve interactions with clients from diverse backgrounds

Over the years, I have had experience working with families and children. It is part of my nature to care for others, helping to make their lives better and happier.
