My basic philosophy is rooted in the belief that building a therapeutic relationship stems from being genuine. Openly living my authentic life, I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and provide services for individuals and families who struggle with the unique challenges they encounter. I work with people who are struggling with recovery from alcohol or drug addiction, people who've experienced various types of trauma, people experiencing depression, anxiety, unresolved grief/loss, and people who are seeking to improve communication, relationships, and feelings of self-worth. The greatest reward for me is watching as people who had lost hope when they began therapy become self-confident and at peace with themselves and the world around them after achieving personal goals and venture into life on their own.

I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology through the University of Jamestown and my master's degree in Clinical Counseling through the Department of Education at North Dakota State University. I also have an associate degree in Developmental Disabilities from Minot State University. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
